School Visits and Sporting Schools

At PaRBA we deliver basketball programs throughout Palmerston and the rural area. We offer school visits to both primary and secondary schools through the Sporting Schools, or specifically designed programs coordinated directly.

These basketball sessions and programs are undertaken by our qualified coaches, who engage school students through fun drills and games. All equipment is supplied, and we are able to source equipment for schools to retain as part of our visit.

Our Coaches:

 Head Participation Officer, Dan Babb.

Dan has extensive experience in basketball both as a player and as a coach;

• Inaugral member of Darwin Salties NBL 1 team

• 4 years playing NCAA College Basketball in the United States of Americia (senior year as Captain)

• 1 season playing professionally in the Danish 1st Division, and

• Representing the state of New South Wales at the junior representative level.

Dan can assist your school, with putting together a tailored program for teachers and students, including the use of sports vouchers. 

Each session will allow students to develop their basketball skills and confidence. Our coaches cater to everyone's skill level and design programs suited to each school's needs, whether it is skill development and drills or simply just basketball fun and games!
